USEFUL INFORMATION
NVOCC shipping may cause additional charges. Please avoid household goods/personal effects alongwith vehicles on one Bill of Lading or in one container, for normal shipments.
Diplomatic shipments can co-load HHG+ Car (car Engine & Chassis numbers should be printed on Bill of Lading)
Airway Bill / Bill of Lading must be consigned as follows:
Shipper: Name Of Owner.
Consignee: Name of owner (as in passport)
Name of Foreign Mission of Foreign Company

Normal rate of customs duty is imposed on shipment of unaccompanied baggage, unless owner is eligible for concessional benefits/duties under transfer of residence rules. Foreign nationals must hold two years visa to avail transfer of residence benefits. Diplomats / Privileged persons are exempted from payment of duties/ taxes.
Customs duties payable in US Dollars to Govt. of Pakistan.
Baggage rules / Transfer of Residence concessions shall be admissible on goods which are shipped within fifteen days of the arrival of the passengers in Pakistan in case of air cargo and within thirty days of his arrival in case of goods coming by sea.
